Eating Together
by Hanske Mulder, augustus 15th, 2011

In the Bible we often here how Jesus shared meals with strangers, friends and family.

Supper with friends

It was through eating together that he was able to form strong relationships with others. We too in the MIssion House believe that eating together is an important part of a community. Like at home when you eat together as a family the Mission House will join whenever possible together to eat.

Each night the house takes it in turn to cook for the group. The first weeks of the year often provide a range of interesting meals as the volunteers sometimes cook for the first times in their lifes. By the end of the year though the skills have been honed and not only is there supper on the table but often cakes and treats cooked up by the house!

How does this work?
